Each sub-theme session will include a keynote presentation discussed with a supporting respondent expert, and audience participation. Participants will then be engaged with further presentations of evidence from academic practice, discussing concerns, findings from research and evaluations and reflecting on achievements. CDE appreciates that over the last year, rapid innovation in digital practice has challenged and even changed our perspectives in teaching and learning. To share experiences further we will close each sub-themed session with breakout room-style social networking opportunities.
Previously RIDE conferences have attracted a wide range of researchers and practitioners from Higher Education and this online format allows us to expand our boundaries and gain insights from around the world, promoting opportunities for collaboration.
Our keynote events include:
- Professor Ellen Helsper, Department of Media and Communications at LSE, on digital inequalities.
- Professor Neil Morris, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Digital Transformation, University of Leeds on innovation in digital practice
- Dr Linda Amrane-Cooper and Professors Stylianos Hatzipanagos and Alan Tait, CDE, on transition to online assessment.
